Radio Edit

I made an appearance on the Chicago-based radio show The Mancow Show yesterday. (Their homepage isn’t working right now, which could point to site maintenance or could indicate the show has imploded. These seem equally likely.) The producers rescheduled on me three (3) times and I was asked on-air if “it’s legal to shoot a hipster.” So I’ll just point to this and clear my throat and move on.

Also, I wanted to point to our last few CNN columns, as requests for an archives page have proved futile:

The Do’s and Don’ts of Job Hunting Online (4/20)

Don’t Be Offended by Online Dating Rejection (4/13)

Beware, Ninjas, of How You Name Yourself Online (4/6)

Alright, /whining into a blog entry field. I’m settled in at Modca with four novel-writing friends, all tapping away steadily, and I’m determined to hit page 70 on my screenplay. Wish me luck.

  1. Wow. Hm. So, first things! Because I have been so focus on “me,” I had no idea that you had this web site! In a blonde way .. I think I knew, but never bothered to dig deep into it. So now I am here, and I am focused on the color blocks below and also feeling bad that I am only here now and only just … focusing on the color blocks below.

So, I want to say that as always — whether it is spoken to you or not — I am always radiating in your good energy and attention to creative pursuits. Being on a radio show and asked about shooting hipsters … to speaking on a panel at a prestigious conference at 8:30AM in the morning on a SATURDAY the DAY BEFORE your birthday! And your 25th ONE! yeesh!

you amaze me. you amaze me even more with these color blocks, so when they go away, I will just have to go hang out in the amazing color block of your life and your inspiration.

love you so much baby girl, happy almost birthday!

    xoxo Sammy
